Connect Puree to Google Calendar so your quotes, orders, closed days and enquiries appear in your Google Calendar automatically.
Connect Puree to Google Calendar and your quotes, orders and closed days appear in your Google Calendar automatically, with the full event details in each one.
Puree creates a dedicated Puree.app calendar in your Google account and syncs your existing orders straight away, so you are up to date from the start.
Pending and accepted quotes each appear as an event. The title shows the customer name, the order reference and the status, PEND or ACCEPT, so you can tell confirmed work from quotes still waiting on the customer.
Each event includes:
When a quote is declined, deleted or expires, its event is removed.
Days you mark as unavailable on the Puree calendar appear as all-day events titled Unavailable, with the reason if you gave one. Change them in Puree rather than in Google Calendar: edits made in Google are overwritten the next time that day syncs. See Calendar & Google Calendar.
An account admin can add enquiries to the calendar too.
Active enquiries with an event date appear as all-day events titled Enquiry - name, followed by the guest count when there is one. They are marked Free, so they show potential work without blocking the day as busy.
Changes to an enquiry’s name, event date or guest count update its event. The event is removed when the enquiry becomes a quote, is processed, archived or deleted, or is closed as lost after its event date. Turn Include enquiries off to remove them all; your orders keep syncing.
Include enquiries only affects Google Calendar. To show enquiries on the Puree calendar, use Show enquiries there. See Show enquiries in Puree and Google Calendar for a walkthrough.
On the Puree calendar, click Colours and tick Match these colours in Google Calendar. Each synced event then takes the closest Google Calendar colour to the order’s colour in Puree. See Calendar Colour Coding: Choose Your Own Colours for Order Status and Order Type.
If you manage venues, each venue can have its own Google Calendar, keeping venue bookings apart from your main order calendar. Set this up from the venue’s settings.
Syncing is automatic and runs in the background, so allow a moment for changes to appear. Make your changes in Puree: the sync goes from Puree to Google, not back again.
Share the Puree.app calendar with your team in Google Calendar, and they can see what is coming up on their phones without a Puree login.
If the connection breaks, for example because access was removed in your Google account, Puree lets your account admins know. Reconnect from Settings → Integrations to restore the sync.
You can disconnect at any time from the same page. Events already in Google Calendar stay there, but nothing new is synced.
