Quotes & Orders
Create a beverage package in Puree with a per-guest price, included drinks, internal planning quantities and a clear customer quote.
Create a beverage package with one price per guest, a clear list of included drinks for the customer, and estimated quantities for your team to order and pack.
Create the wines, beers and nonalcoholic drinks you want to include in your item catalogue. See Items & Categories if you need to add them first.
This example uses a Three-hour beverage package at $55 per guest, with a minimum of 20 guests. These are example settings; use your own pricing, duration and terms.
Open the account menu and go to Settings → Menu Headers. Create a header such as Beverage selection.
Optionally add default commentary to explain the service, such as your responsible service statement and the package’s duration and terms. This text appears beneath the header on the customer’s quote. See Menu Headers and Menu & Category Commentary.
Go to Items → Packages and choose New Package.
Add Fixed items to the package and select the wines, beers and nonalcoholic drinks included in the offer. These are the drinks available within the package, rather than choices the customer must make when accepting the quote.
Apply the Beverage selection menu header to all the selected beverages so they appear together on the quote.
For each beverage, choose per guest and enter your own estimated quantity for the whole three-hour service. Check the unit of the item you are using when entering its quantity.
Puree scales these quantities by the package’s guest count when you add it to a quote. Use estimates appropriate to your own event and service plan, then review the resulting totals for ordering and packing.
These quantities are internal planning estimates, not a customer allowance or a recommended level of consumption. For an unlimited package, describe the duration and applicable service terms in your customer-facing wording; the estimated quantities do not define how many drinks each guest may receive.
Turn on Info only for every included beverage and leave Show price off. Check all selected rows before adding the selection.
Within a package, Info only keeps the beverage’s quantity for staff while hiding that quantity from customers. With Show price off, the drinks have no separate displayed price; the package carries the charge.
Add the selection and save the package.
Create or edit a quote and go to its items page. Open Packages, select Three-hour beverage package, and enter the guest quantity, for example 100.
Add the package to the order and save the quote. See Creating a Quote and Packages for the wider quoting workflow.
In the internal view, check the package charge and the calculated quantities of the included beverages. Your team can use those quantities for dockets, ordering and packing, including external supplier orders where applicable. See External Suppliers.
Open the customer view and check that it shows:
For an unlimited offer, the customer sees the drinks available for the stated duration and terms, while your team retains the quantities needed to prepare for the event.
