Learn how to manage and print dockets for your orders.
Dockets are printable documents that provide your team with the information they need to prepare and deliver orders. Each docket includes order details, items, delivery times, and special instructions.
Dockets are automatically generated for accepted orders. Navigate to Dockets from the main menu to view and download dockets.
Puree automatically generates the appropriate dockets based on the order type and items in the quote. The system determines which dockets are required and updates them automatically when a quote is created or modified.
Dockets are generated based on what's included in the order:
You don't need to manually select which dockets to generate—the system handles this automatically.
The dockets page displays all accepted orders with their event dates, customer names, quote numbers, and last updated times. Use the search bar to find specific orders by customer name or quote number.
All Orders: Shows all accepted orders with upcoming event dates.
Recent Updates: Shows orders dated within the next 7 days that have been updated in the past 72 hours. This filter helps you identify orders that need reprinting.
Click the PDF button next to an order to download the docket. The docket includes all order details formatted for kitchen use.
When viewing Recent Updates, orders that have been modified since the docket was last printed display a red PDF button. Once you download the updated docket, the button returns to normal.
In addition to operational dockets, Puree automatically generates customer menus for each order. These are designed to be printed on card stock with your letterhead and displayed next to the food at the event, so guests can see what's being served.
You can also email the customer menu to your client a day or two before the event as a final confirmation. This is a good way to front-foot any last-minute changes — if something needs adjusting, it's better to catch it before the day rather than on the day.
