Beta Programme
By Andrew Hemphill · 11 February 2026
We're excited to introduce a brand new feature for Puree — Stripe credit card payments. This lets your customers pay deposits and balances directly from their quotes, with everything handled securely through Stripe.
Before we roll this out to everyone, we're looking for a small group of beta testers to help us refine the experience. If you're interested, read on to see how it works and get in touch.

Stripe is one of the world's largest and most trusted credit card payment providers — used by virtually every major online platform. By connecting your Stripe account to Puree, a Pay Now button appears on your customer's quotes, allowing them to pay securely by credit card.
Puree never touches or stores any credit card details. All payment processing is handled entirely through Stripe's secure infrastructure.
From your order view, a Stripe panel shows you exactly what's been paid, what's outstanding, and any scheduled payment requests. You can see the fee breakdown — including Stripe processing fees and Puree's processing fee — so you know exactly what your net payout will be.
Your customers see a clean, simple payment experience. After accepting a quote, they can pay by credit card directly from the quote page. They can also download receipts for each payment.
Like any credit card provider, Stripe charges processing fees which are deducted from each payment. These vary by region but are typically around 2.9% + 30c per transaction.
Puree adds a small 0.4% processing fee on top of Stripe's fees. This covers the cost of maintaining the integration — including secure payment infrastructure, automated payment scheduling, email notifications, refund handling, and the ongoing development of new payment features. We've kept this as low as possible while ensuring we can continue to invest in and support the feature long-term.
Both fees are clearly shown in Puree's payment breakdown for every transaction, so there are no surprises. And remember — Stripe payments are entirely optional. You can turn them on or off at a quote level.
We're confident the feature is ready, but we want to understand how you'd use it in practice and what could be improved. As a beta tester, you'll get early access and a direct line to us for feedback.
